Helpers Needed :Click on this line to go to www.ArkAlmighty.com What is ArkALMIGHTY? ArkALMIGHTY is a good deeds program that matches up the needs in our congregation with the talents and skills of the members of our church. Gathering the needs of our attendees, these requests are compiled on a special website administered by our church. Then, the members of our church can easily search through the needs and find ways they can help. The ArkALMIGHTY.com website is designed to enable our congregation to easily get involved in practical and tangible volunteer outreach. Can you balance a checkbook? Can you hang a picture frame? Can you rake leaves? You might not think of these everyday activities as volunteering, but for the people around you who can’t do them, your ability and your willingness to help is exactly what they need. You’d be amazed how a simple act of kindness can change lives. Post a need. It’s easy and it’s anonymous. The only people who have access to your personal information are the person who agrees to help you and the church administrator who oversees the site – personal contact information is NOT displayed on the website. No one will know which person has what need.
Fulfill a need. Church members can scroll through the list of posted needs on your ArkALMIGHTY web page and easily volunteer to help.
Post a service. Church members may have a talent or ability that does not currently have a need. However, these posted skills may encourage people who have a need to request help. These services are posted on your church’s ArkALMIGHTY home page.
Approve a need. Security is an important feature of ArkALMIGHTY. To ensure that only appropriate content is posted to your web page, the administrator must approve all postings of needs, fulfillments and services. Confirm that a need has been fulfilled. A week after the initial email is sent connecting both parties, an automated follow-up email is sent out to see whether or not the need has been fulfilled.
Share your successes stories. Members of your congregation will want to know about the great deeds happening among the church. You can post stories and photos of some of your successes on your web page for all to see.
If you do not have a computer with internet service call Joe Phillis (734-2770) and he can post the need for you.
